I’m so glad you’re here! Erie Way Flowers is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this season and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past 10 years is that the farm is constantly evolving! So what better way to kick off our 10th growing season than with the launch of our very first Dahlia Tuber Sale. Dahlias have been a staple of the farm since day 1 and living in Western NY, each growing season has brought us new challenges and through it all we have never stopped learning! We are now at the point where we can share with you our knowledge, our experiences and of course-OUR TUBERS!!

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
Shipping is available in the United States only at this time.

WHEN WILL THE TUBERS BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE?
The tuber sale will be live in the next several days. We’re working hard to finish up the dividing and get our counts logged! Sign up for the NEWSLETTER and you’ll be the FIRST to know! Otherwise continue to follow me on social media-I’ll post it there!

WHAT TYPE OF VARIETIES WILL YOU BE SELLING?
Erie Way is a Flower Farm and Floral Design Studio growing specialty cut flowers for our design work. All of our dahlias are grown specifically for cut flowers. Whether you’re a New or Seasoned Flower Farmer or an avid gardener, our tubers are definitely for you and your farm or flower garden!

HOW ARE THE DAHLIA TUBERS SOLD
Our dahlia tubers are sold as single divisions and not in clumps.

WHAT WILL THE TUBERS LOOK LIKE?
Each tuber will have a sound body, intact neck and at least one viable eye. Tubers come in all shapes and sizes. Size DOES NOT matter. As long as the criteria listed is present, it will grow into a beautiful dahlia! Please note: When your tuber ar!rives, you many not be able to see the eye until it begins to wake up over the next several weeks after arrival.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TUBER UNTIL IT’S TIME FOR PLANTING?
Your dahlia tuber should be stored in a cool (around 45 degrees), dark & dry area in a bag, box or plastic container. Cover the tuber with clean wood shavings, vermiculite or newspaper until you are ready to plant. Check your tubers to be sure they stay dry, as mositure can cause them to rot. DO NOT LET THE TUBERS FREEZE.

ORDERING & SHIPPING FAQs

WHAT IS THE PROCESS AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER?
You will receive an order confirmation once your order is placed. Please be sure to check all SPAM/JUNK folders to find our email. Also, before you finalize your order, please make sure that your mailing and email addresses are correct.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER ONCE IT’S PLACED?
You will not be able to make changes to your order once it’s placed. If you would like additional tubers, you will have to place another order.

WILL A TUBER BE SAVED IF IT’S IN MY SHOPPING CART?
NO! Please be aware that your tubers aren’t “saved” if they’re sitting in your shopping cart. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the website doesn’t save them, you need to finish checking out or someone else could purchase the tuber before you!

WILL THERE BE SALES TAX?
New York State residents will be charged the appropriate sales tax.

HOW WILL MY TUBERS BE SHIPPED?
Orders will be shipped via USPS. You will receive another email with tracking information once it has been shipped.

WHEN WILL MY TUBERS ARRIVE?
All orders will arrive some time between Mid-March to Early April, after danger of frost has passed. Please watch for an email from us-always check that Junk/Spam folder!

WHAT SHOULD I DO ONCE I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Once you receive your order, open it immediately to exam your tuber(s). You will have 24 hours from the day you receive to get in touch with us if you believe there is a problem. Erie Way is not responsible for tubers once your order is received. Please be sure and care for them properly until planting time.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER AT THE FLOWER FARM?
We’re sorry, but there is currently no order pick up at the farm. Online orders are for shipping only.
